# Development evidence, separate from confirmation

These are pre-confirmation tuning summaries, not additional held-out trials.
The frozen confirmation evidence is in [../lab/](../lab/index.html).

`hinged-box/` retains the original iterations and final development summary.
`tool-reach/` retains eight iterations and their freeze records. This includes
the initially permissive lift check that could mistake world support for
retention, the support-exclusion correction, and the final controller choices.
Intermediate labels describe their own implementations and must not be pooled
with the final success criterion.

[Final development index](final-development-benchmark.json) and
[protocol](final-development-protocol.json) describe the separate eighteen-attempt
development run. Its replay paths are references to the original development
export, not downloadable trajectories in this summary-only archive. The final
held-out lab contains complete replay and native trace artifacts.

The final development cohort contains a retained tool-assisted lift. None of the
three retrieved held-out shoes passes the final lift window. Development success
is not held-out competence. These files remain unchanged to preserve the tuning
history; no claim is made that every early prototype has a complete trajectory.
